Akshay is an emotional fool

Akshay Kumar has a huge fan in filmmaker Priyadarshan.

Priyan says, “Most people seem to think that Akshay is mercenary and only talks money.” However, according to Priyan, who has done six films with Akki, there was an occasion when a producer was having trouble with his funds. “Akshay was yet to receive a big part of his remuneration, when I realised that the producer was facing a money crunch. I asked Akki to let go of the rest of his remuneration. And he did so without a moment’s hesitation. I hold Akshay in high esteem because of this one incident. Honestly, who lets go of money without even a single question asked?”
