Will Karan Johar Not Invite Fawad Khan to Mumbai?

With a political party now targetting Pakistani actors in Bollywood, two major banners are in a dilemma as to how to finish their shooting schedules and then continue with the films' promotions. Since, the political party has specifically mentioned two major Pakistani stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan who are working in films produced by Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar.
Word is that Karan Johar will now refrain from inviting Fawad Khan to Mumbai for any more work related to his films. Fawad has already finished shooting for KJo's Kapoor and Sons in India and is currently also shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London.

“He won’t take the risk of bringing Fawad to Mumbai for any shooting or promotional activities. Karan has already been in trouble with the same political outfit earlier for referring to ‘Mumbai’ as ‘Bombay’ . He can’t take the risk again,” says a source in a bollywoodlife.com article.

As for Mahira, the source says, “Chances are the producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani may shoot Mahira’s portions in Dubai or some other location away from Mumbai where most of Raees has been shot.”
