A little piece of gossip that had been doing rounds in tinsel town lately had unnerved the fans of Katrina Kaif. According to rumour, Deepika Padukone had sidelined the beautiful Kaif girl to clinch a role opposite Salman Khan in a movie by Salman’s bhai-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
It was being rumoured that though Atul wanted Katrina for the movie, Salman insisted on roping in Deepika because she suited the role better for the film, which is the Hindi remake of the South hit ‘Bodyguard’.
Now, a denial of this news has come from none other than Deepika.
While promoting her upcoming film Lafangey Parindey, Deepika clarified: “I haven’t signed a film with Salman Khan. I have not been approached for it.”
However, Deepika did admit that she would love to work with Salman.
